tell me something good

I'm having a shitty week, people. And that is the truth. These past five days could not have sucked more. I am trying to hold myself together and not do things like cry at work or scare children at Whole Foods.

I was feeling relieved that today is Friday but that relief was short-lived as my normally 20 minute commute took over an hour this morning. I was close to turning back and just going home, except I think that would have taken even longer.

So here's where you come in. Tell me something nice or some good news or something. If you don't care to leave a comment (and most likely you don't since it seems that only 5% of you like to comment) then you can just email me. I really don't care. But JUST DO IT.

And don't worry, I won't tell. I'll keep you my dirty little secret. Who has to know?

The good news is that it is Friday and on top of that it is a 3 day weekend (for many people)!!!!!

In other good news I am wearing a black shirt today with a cool blue and purple J. Garcia tie that makes me look totally pimping.

In light of my new found love of things, (if you haven't read my blog lately check it out), I say be grateful for something. Its easy to get all wrapped up in the negative (and negative energy sent out brings negative energy back). But think about all the wonders in your life: Real, rizzo, work, knitting, etc. Feel the love!

And if that doesn't work, smack a co-worker!

It could be worse. It could always be worse... Lets see, I got to cover for my boss today who's having an affair. That was fun. I got stuck in the bathroom with someone who was both going and throwing up EVERYwhere all at the same time. I had a student tell me all about how she can't continue her classes because she miscarried and she thinks it's because she smokes too much pot. This is was all before 11 a.m. I'm taking great comfort in hitting starbucks on my way home and spending a LARGE chunk of my tax return at the book store tonight. So think happy thoughts.

Now you guys are bumming me out even more!

Last time I ask. I mean it. LAST TIME!

No it's not supposed to bum you out. That's how I get better after a shitty day. I think it could absolutely be worse. See, it ain't so bad if it's worse! Go to Starbucks and get yourself a tall treat. And I don't me dude. You got one of those. I was thinking more along the lines of something with caramel and whip.

Let's see...good news is that the SEMI-FINALS of American Idol start next week and we can start voting our asses off! And something nice is that Grant really likes "Lesley's tongue sticking out." And Alex just tried to leave a comment on your blog--something like "a2goutn."

You should have told me you were having a bad day and I wouldn't have been nearly so "me, me, me...blah, blah, blah" this morning!!

I lost two more pounds.

That's good, right?

Um, I can't think of anything else. Been a long week.

Ok girl, hope this stupid joke helps to brighten your day.

Willie: So you left your glasses home when you went to Las Vegas?
Lily: It was such a shame that I couldn't see.
Willie: Did you miss the shows?
Lily: No, but I wasted two whole days playing a stamp machine.

Have a good weekend Lesley!

You're not a mommy blogger. Or a pet blogger.

That's good.
