Today was yet another day in the Great Unemployment Adventure. Yes, I've had to go back to calling it that. You see, I had thought that I would just think of 2011 as the Year of Lesley, however, much to my surprise my unemployment has continued into 2012, and also I've realized that one Year of Lesley couldn't possibly be enough. I now believe that when you take a year to take care of yourself, cultivate your sense of adventure, and explore your interests, it'll just build into yet another fabulous year. And why shouldn't it?

In other news, today I paid all my bills and had a brief moment of OMG MONEY. I got over it, though. Luckily for me, I had an Irish upbringing and one thing such a thing will teach you is that Things Can Always Be Worse. I mean sure, being unemployed sucks, but being unemployed in a state less generous than NJ and without a severance package and without a supportive family would suck more. So just being unemployed? Really not so bad.

And besides, right now I am very very happy.   That's all.
