you and me together through the days and nights...
Two things:
1. I really love my new job but the inevitable corporate torture caught up with me today. It was in the form of an HR workshop to discuss things like "project team dynamics" and "the on-boarding process." And I was given homework! As in homework "for next time" so I guess this means that there will be a "next time." My homework is to write a personal mission statement. That should be easy: "Lesleygirl's mission is to kick your ass." Done. Secretly, though, I'm hoping that "next time" will coincide with "surgery leave."
2. I think I have given up on trying to use reusable water bottles. I have a collection of Nalgene bottles, and I always end up having to toss a few of them because they get too funky for me, and they are so hard to un-funk. But I need my hydration, especially now with surgery coming up, so I need to figure something out. For now I have a Costco pack of big Poland Spring bottles, and I promise to recycle each and every one of them once I'm done.
That's it. Just two things. I'm not feeling inspired to write more. Sorry. Seymour had a bad day and I'm tired.

I started using the Bobble bottles. They have those funky filters in them. I'm very particular about how water tastes and if it tastes gross I won't drink it. The filter allows me to get water anywhere. I've not had any trouble with them getting funky to date...but our water here may not carry as much funk as yours. = )
