watch me crank dat, watch me roll

Oh damn, did I forget to blog? And did I forget to blog and also start singing Soulja Boy lyrics? I have to admit, I love that song. When my youngest nephew, Baby Kangaroo, was younger we used to sing it together. We particularly like the "Now watch me YOUUUUUUU!" part. Heh.

I'm feeing generous tonight so I'm going to tell you five (5) little things.

1. Friday night I went out to dinner and managed to keep my carefully-planned macronutrient ratios. I had baby lobster tails and a Corona Light at Chickie's & Pete's. Grand total of 5 net carbs. And the Chickie's we went to was inside a casino and I actually won a little money! How ya like them apples?

2. Luna has systematically removed every hat, glove, and mitten from the top of my walk-in closet and hidden them throughout the house. She's now begun working on the hand towels as well. I'd try to put them back, but I'm actually enjoying the sight of a little 6-pound runt of a cat carrying a hand towel that's about as big as her around the house.

3. I have yet another book recommendation for you. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I could not put this book down! I also maybe cried through most of the second half of it. Anyway, if you have a Kindle or Nook I can possibly hook you up with a file. Maybe. I will neither confirm nor deny my ability to do.

4. I went to my good friend Nuel's 40th birthday extravaganza at an arena football game yesterday. There was a catered tailgate with some really awesome brisket. Then, during the game, I made it onto the Jumbotron because I guess they liked my stunning rendition of the Apache dance. I guess I was channeling my inner Fresh Prince.

5. This weekend my one and only niece, Noodles, graduated from high school AND turned 18. I was 23 when she was born, and yet I am now only 25, as everyone knows. Funny how that works.

That's five. And now I really should get some sleep. Good night, my shining stars.

I just downloaded that one, too! I figured since I loved Me Before You, I'd like One Plus One, too.
